Refurbishing

Refurbishing a piano (sometimes referred to as reconditioning) is the process of cleaning, tuning, regulating, and voicing your instrument to restore its ability to create beautiful music once again.  The brass and metalwork is polished to return its luster.  The keys are cleaned, buffed, and aligned to provide a solid bed from which the action will work. The mechanical components of the action, trap work, and damper system will be cleaned and adjusted to make it play its best. In short, your instrument will be ready to produce the music that caused you to love it.

If your instrument is older or has significant wear, it may need a rebuild project.  Campbell Piano Shop will evaluate your instrument and give you our recommendations.
